It's a girl!!!

Our regular ob/gyn told us way back at 15.5 weeks that he thought it was going to be a boy, so we figured he was right for the next month. Pretty much all we talked about was "el niƱo."

But today at the 20 week anatomy scan, the doctor said she was 95-97% certain that it was a girl! I was shocked for one minute, then extremely happy about having a little girl. Cheryl was immediately ecstatic, and later said that it was one of the happiest days of her life. It was for me too.

Anyway, here are a couple of pics of Avery from the most recent ultrasound, at just under 20 weeks.

Here, the baby was something like 13.5 oz., which puts her at about the 95th percentile for weight. How can such a big baby fit in Cheryl???
