Scott and Avery had quite an adventure this weekend. They went to the park early morning Saturday and took pictures together.
Then they went to the transit museum and drove an old bus together....

And then Avery and Daddy palled around on the floor during the thunderstorm - what a day!!
Then next day was Sunday (Father's Day) and we spent the day in NJ with the other dads on my side of the family. Avery and Daddy had more QT together.

What a nice weekend it was. I also want to mention that this week, Avery rolled over from her front to her back for the first time (she'd previously only gone in the other direction). She also continued her transition from a silly, sing-songy voice to an incredibly loud, shrieking voice. We try not to give her any reaction at all when she screeches so as to discourage it, but it's actually pretty funny.
What a wonderful, memorable weekend! Great first Father's Day too. Avery is looking marvelous and is sooo happy. Terrific photos....thanks.
Ah, this just provided such a nice break from work! Avery looks so adorable (especially in the hot pink outfit and close-up pic-- sooo cute!) And I LOVE that she is shrieking!! Go girl! Get your shriek on!

LOVE the last picture. Colson's hair grew in the exact same way. We called it "The Squiggy" - our Laverne & Shirley tribute! Great job on the rolling, Avery! Happy first Father's Day, Scott!
